Ask HN: Any bright ideas on how to calculate Reach?
I have clients who insist on using Reach as a metric in their Social KPIs.
I try to push of using more meaningful data (engagement rate for instance) but much like the heart - the client wants what the client wants.
Is there a solid way of calculating Reach on Facebook and Twitter when these platforms do not directly report these data via their APIs?
Any advice appreciated.
