Ask HN: Help getting a Knowledge Panel on Google search results?
This seems like something random that you all would have some, er, knowledge about...
I'm trying to improve the web presence of a business and want to get one of those fancy boxes on the side of the search results. The business has a website with decent traffic, all the social media channels (including a verified G+ account), a wikipedia article and a relatively specific name so that it won't be confused with anything else.
I've tried to find some sort of specific guide to help but alas, it's Google and I haven't had luck.
Can anyone help? Thanks!

So it looks like an algorithmic thing, not something you would sign up for. Also, this help page was suggested, it has a lot of suggestions: https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177?hl=en

Edit: This forum post suggests making sure Wikipedia is up-to-date, as that's one of the Knowledge Panel's sources: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/business/JsEL...
Just a bit annoying because as algorithmic it may be, I feel like I've provided all the resources to get one.
