Ask HN: Considering the privacy discussion about OnHub, what DNS do HNers use?

9 points by sinatra ↗ HN
Most HNers are worried about the privacy implications of using OnHub[1]. That got me thinking: I'm using Google DNS, which basically gives Google almost all of my traffic anyway. The alternatives (OpenDNS, ISP's DNS, etc) aren't much better. In that case, what do HNers use?

I use OpenDNS, primarily for it's content filtering capabilities (but also because I've benchmarked it to be faster than my ISP's DNS responses).
You could use an unrelated provider's DNS servers.
