Ask HN: What's the state of the art in Desk Calculators

One of the ubiquitous things in every fiscal department is the desk calculator, from my observation the desk calculator hasn't really advanced much since the 80s when they got decent printers and LED/LCD displays.

I’ve been expecting to see some calculator with a multi-line LCD doing some small spreadsheet like function (run a "tape" be able to scroll through, make corrections, storage for popular application sheets, etc.

The appeal of desk calculators is they are optimised for crunching numbers, they have big keys, displays and printout and mechanical function settings, they just work, I would think there might be room for a new generation.

Anyone know of any 21st century worthy desk calculators?
