What are some alternative career paths to Software Engineering/Development?
Simply put, I've lost almost all passion for software development or anything related to computers for that matter, when I was a kid I used to become Euphoric when I would sit alone and work on some hobby project, not anymore. Don't get me wrong I still pursue my own hobby projects from time to time but it's not really something I want to do as a job, similar to how I enjoy cleaning my own house but I wouldn't enjoy working for a hotel cleaning service even if we put money and prestige aside.
I chose software engineering as a career path because it's what I'm most skilled at, but it's mostly just a means to an end: paying my bills.
So what alternatives are there for someone who has a CS degree and is skilled in software engineering/development. Money isn't really the deciding factor since software engineers aren't paid a lot here, $100K/year is reserved for big important managers.
