Topic for my master's thesis? (Electronics)

I'm looking for a topic to do my master's thesis on. My major is electronics but most of my studies have been on the software side. The project should be doable in 5-8 months by one person. I have a startup in the restaurant industry so I was thinking maybe doing something involving our customers. Beacons tracking visitor behavior or something?
