Continue with basic html, css and bootstrap or diverse?

Hi Guys,

I'm recently after finishing a basic course on html, css and bootstrap to get into the front end of web development. I next want to create my own website, like a portfolio so would you recommend continuing with what im doing or should i start using wordpress?

Besides that, do you guys have any good resources for gaining more knowledge on front-end web development? Anything would be much appreciated!
