Ask HN: Unhappy at work, what should I do?

I've been working at this company for 2 years. 2 years I finished my degree. 24 years old. Eastern European moved to UK for better salary.

People are very nice here, managers are good too. But it's so fucking easy. I am not challenged at all. I want to solve something. I want to change the world. And here I am searching for bugs at this stupid software, creating simple CRUD applications. It's just sad. And there're people in war, scared for their life, how could I be unhappy? It's these news and movies that say you have to be special. I just don't know. Why am I even posting? Sorry. I am not sure what I'm asking. I just started to get drunk everyday.

I suggest you wait a couple weeks (HN users tend not to like reposts too quickly) and then try asking this again. It's a problem that many people here have had and are willing to discuss. Which such questions get attention is partly random, so trying again is ok. Good luck with the struggle.
