Ask: Founders, post acquisition why did you leave the new company?

Throwaway for obvious reasons.

My co-founders and I ran a VC funded company that was acquired sometime back. We were pretty thrilled during the acquisition phase and 10 months into the new company it’s depressing at best and now contemplating giving up.

Are there other founders like me? Why did you leave after acquisition?
