It's a great product for those who are already using an iPad, want a bigger screen or a stylus, and don't mind the price.
It seems unlikely they will be able to sell to many people not already in the Apple ecosystem because people that use specific non-iOS apps won't buy it because it can only run iOS apps, and those who only use generic software like a web browser will buy something cheaper like a Chromebook, Android tablet or a cheaper iPad.
But maybe it will sell more non-Pro iPads now that they look cheaper compared to the "Pro" one.
