That's a really unfair headline. I don't see any evidence that Burning Man considered the ad "so accurate" or that that had anything to do with suing them.
Clickbait headline. BMORG has made it clear that they will aggressively go after (most) commercial uses of the Burning Man intellectual property, regardless of whether it is a positive or negative portrayal of BM. I happen to think BM should be CC not (c), but that's besides the point. Quizno's could have called it Flaming Man or something, but the extra controversy has been part of what's making the video viral. Jokes and critique are rather mediocre IMHO. (and nothing that hasn't been talked about in BM circles for a long time)
The story of how lawsuits become mere marketing expenses.
Well, I love the irony.

I've been involved in various copyright cases as an expert witness, it's a big money "game".

The irony of a hippie / counterculture festival using lawyer to protect their Intellectual Property is epic. Corporate jets now land at Black Rock City Municipal Airport.

Having been to the BM, I can't help but think this is pretty accurate. Still an experience worth paying for, though. In fact, for a student like myself, it might have turned out cheaper than the computer I'm typing this onto.
