This is dangerous thinking. New theories come up in science all the time. You also can't tell me that vaccines will absolutely not harm anyone in 100% of all cases. Scientifically, it doesn't even make sense.
It's dangerous because we are now starting an era that I call scientific authoritarianism. You can't go against scientists, because they know better. If you do, your career is destroyed, you are silenced, and marginalized.
I don't even agree with the group that thinks that autism is linked to vaccines, I just feel like we need to stop all the witch hunts.
This article just seems like a smear campaign against Trump, the Republicans, and the people that vote for them.
Laypeople don't argue using their "common sense" with engineers about whether bridge trusses ought to be larger or smaller. It's always been crazy to me that laypeople argue with scientists and physicians about things like vaccines.
