This is dangerous, it carries far too much baggage and abuse potential. Terrorists may have dangerous weapons, but governments have police powers, extraordinary renditions, secret prisons, special interests, corrupt (and non-corrupt) officials, J. Edgar Hoovers, and an extraordinary knack for getting basic human rights issues wrong.

And this concept is a fairly standard technocratic response to danger too: "technology shall save us!" Just don't ask too many questions about the unintended consequences.

We can expect that everyone is about to start becoming strip searched every time they get on the plane. Thanks for suggesting ways to make it worse dude.
