Since the discussion about savings[0] turned into a conversation over semantics and investing, I'm curious to see if there are any trends in HN readership. I expect some people won't feel comfortable commenting about this, so a poll seems the best way to represent everyone.

Probably around 10K liquid right now.

On the bright side, over my lifetime I've probably racked up hundreds of thousands in technical debt, and maybe helped encourage others to spend millions on therapy!

I have student loans to pay off, both for a graphic design degree and a programming degree, so probably negative until I die.
