I think this is relevant so here is the info, Monsanto 2 days ago closed a company in Brazil that they bought some 8 years ago for close to 300 million, the company was the country leading genetic genetic improvement research group, with close to 250 scientist, they did all kinds of researches in the field and launched several new varieties both classic genetic selection and GMOS.
It was the best place I've ever worked, so many smart people... close to 250 people. The research from what I've heard is going to the garbage as well.
