Ask HN: Quick and automated backup for startup

We have some development computers and a couple servers(all linux) and are trying to set up some sort of backup of all the machines that runs automatically. I also want it to be able to scale gracefully should we start adding machines quickly. Is there any good solutions or methods that we could implement quickly?
