High court in London rules Uber is legal (theguardian.com)

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I think it's good that there is competition, but they are still working as a taxi system. Metering is metering, and somewhere, a fare is calculated based upon certain factors. I don't know how that fare is calculated, but realistically both services are offering a ride in exchange for money. There either needs to be some regulation in place for Uber, or regulations loosened on Black cab companies.
