Bitbucket is Down :(

I have been checking since an hour or so, and it is down. Can't even pull from the repository. What do you do in this situation, when your git host is down?

You create your own git host.
Exactly.

"Wow, we now have a good decentralized versioning system. What to do with that?... I know! Let's put all the sources on a single, centralized host!"

Yes, they have had a few issues this week. I believe they are doing some hardware migration.

Could be worse right? Back in SVN and CVS days, you only had a partial copy of the repository. At least you can do some commits/merges/branches offline.

But in reality, it's a pain, especially when you need changes from another developer. So what do I do when my git host is down? I come on Hacker News to see what other people are saying about it.

Hahaha, yeah, it's back up. Had to give developers a break.
