AirBnb just announced they're testing a product similar to ours. Any advice?

Hello, For the past year I've been working on a startup built as a marketplace for people to list, discover and book getaways offered by locals anywhere in the world, as long as it has something special about it. This means that one can discover, list or book a local activity (culinary, cultural, sightseeing etc)+ accommodation, all in one place.

We launched in September and are working on building traction. But Airbnb just announced they're "reinventing travelling" with trips "handcrafted" by locals who live there. (source http://thenextweb.com/insider/2015/10/26/airbnb-tests-booking-your-entire-trip-with-new-journeys-service/ ) And come December, they'll be testing their offer for San Francisco.

Our tool already offers such "handcrafted" short trips all over the world, not just SF. But we obviously lack the traction and marketing budget behind AirBnb.

Do you have any advice on what we can do to prepare come December? Did any of you guys experience something similar? Should all our team's effort be put in a drawer now? Obviously, any feedback on how we could improve our tool (spoty.com) would be greatly appreciated.
