I'm Entering Startup Weekend. Suggestions?
This is my first Startup anything I've ever done. I've been much more involved in the maker/hacker community.
I know C, C++, Python, JS, Node, Java, along with circuit design, design technology (CAD/CAM, parametric solid modeling), and usability regarding physical designs. As stated, I'm entering this as a developer (other two choices are designer and nontechnical/business). I could competently join as designer as well, depending on product.
I just finished Sam Altmann's Startup Playbook, and received some great suggestions. Yet it leaves a hole for the first "56 hours". How do I play this out? What am I to expect? What areas of startup business should I avoid? If I don't take away a business from this, what other takeaways can I utilize for a "Startup Weekend"?
