Minimum requirements: 3+ years of work experience building and scaling web applications or Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or similar technical field (e.g., Math, Physics) Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, CSS, and Javascript/jQuery Proficiency in Postgres or other RDBMS, and database architecture and scaling Experience with iOS or Android development is a plus, but not required

WHAT YOU WILL DO You will work directly with our CTO as our first engineering hire. You will be expected to contribute across all areas of the business and have the potential to grow at the pace of a world class startup.

Key responsibilities: Analyze and solve difficult problems across the stack with autonomy, confidence, and creativity Ensure the stability and security of our environment, including testing and monitoring Build and ship new functionality based on our product roadmap Identify issues and refactor existing code to enhance and scale our service Build something millions love
