For the most part pretty much everyone which the US bombed in the middle east since 9/11 was either neutral or working against long and short term Israeli interests.
American foreign policy in the middle east is really not beneficial for Israel, people confuse US interests with their support towards Israel which is often offered in spite of US interests in the region not due to them.
US Interests and Israeli interests especially in the near east are often non-aligned, and sometimes contradictory, Israel didn't want the US to invade Afghanistan because It liked the fact that for once there is a Jihadi magnet and blanket state which seems to couldn't care less about Israel.
It didn't want Iraq invaded because it knew that Iran would be able to push it's pieces further into the board, it didn't want Libya liberated because as long as that loon Gaddafi was in charge it posed no threat, and it even warned the US that destabilizing Libya can lead to instability in Egypt which Israel needs stable as it's the only military in the region that can pose a serious threat (Egypt has a modern Army, they get the same military aid as Israel as agreed upon in the camp david accords), and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Look, I'm not going to complain about Russia showing some form of sympathy for a NATO country, but this smacks of revenge fantasy to me.
We should cleanly and without emotion remove the enemies of humanity. No torture, no joy in the killing. Just perfect, methodical culling of undesirable elements.
Writing on bombs isn't something rare, British, US, French heck airmen from every other air force in the world do exactly the same.
Believe it or not quite often even civilians are allowed or even invited to do so as a perk or a honoring service.
