Ask HN: Recommendations For Making A Politicians Site 2010

I am making a website for a local politician running for a state office. After the last presidential election I walked into his office today and he said to me, "I want you to do what Obama had done."

Whats your recommendations for Facebook pages and what not? should there be his page and then a group for the office he is running for? or a separate political page?

What do you guys think?
