Building my own CDN and getting positive results
I have been running a cache based browser for slower networks athttp://serve.3ezy.com that strips out a bunch of stuff to make it easier for browsing popular content. It is specially helpful on mobile networks. It has been running for over 5 years now.
Recently I decided to make it distributed with multiple hosts and AWS Route53 to enable Global Load Balancing as well as failover with success. I went ahead and added a generic proxy cache with nginx for over 35 domains I have acquired over time in my trying to build the next big thing. =D Plus some from my acquaintance over the web who'd like to use it. I did this because Cloudflare just wasn't working for me with the high cache ejection.
you can test with one of my sites like http://www.acmedata.in or http://www.webmastersupport.com
Feel free to try or if you'd like to test it just drop me a note via acmedata.in
