They do this to scare other pirates away from sharing files. It is hard to get 200,000 views in two months.

I used to pirate video games until Steam came out with sales and made them affordable. A lot of the times people pirate is because the software or video or music is too expansive or isn't available in their area.

I've learned to use free and open source alternatives to commercial software to avoid piracy. I look forward to SteamOS and other things that will compete with commercial operating systems.

It seems to have passed 175 000 already.

So did I, I was kind of more extremist in my views when I was younger and plain refused to use pirated sw. This meant I picked up Linux and Open Source and that part I have never regretted.
