How do you feel about languages mimicking the C-like syntax?
Without discussing too much about the programming language features, how do you feel about the C like syntax even in functional programming languages like Scala?
For example, in Scala a left brace and right brace may be used to make a method block.
Why has this style of programming survived so long and why do you think other styles haven't flourished? Why haven't distinctly different languages like S-Expression Lisp languages flourished or other stack languages?
