Malbox alternative for Android

I had stopped using the desktop version on Mac because of bugs which weren't fixed for a long time. But i still had it installed so that I can go through my emails swiping them to archive.

On my android, it was the primary mail app. Throw some light on other alternatives, which make mail easier?

A desktop client is a plus point, but not required.

Or defaulting to GMail would be better now?
