If GM feels like their cars are built for high-impact driving that Lyft drivers do, I think it's a fantastic idea to integrate some resources into that.

The article also mentions they get access to the software, so they could potentially find out what brands are preferred in certain areas, or what areas are harder on which cars.

This just seems like such a smart move for GM.
