Ask HN: Selling software to developing economies
What have your experiences been selling software (particularly business/enterprise products) to the developing economies in countries like India, Brazil, etc? It seems like a software price that is acceptable to US & Europe is going to be exorbitant to these countries. It also seems like piracy is a significant issue.
Have you had any luck selling software in the so-called BRIC countries? Any best practices to share?
