Ask HN: Looking for a video hosting service with API

Hello all,

My customer is building a mobile app and is looking for a service to upload, encode, host videos made from this app.

The volume will be quite low at the beginning (the app does not have a large target and the video taking is not the core of the app). We need a good API, possibly with iOS and Android SDKs and a possibility to download videos after upload.

We were thinking about using Dailymotion Cloud but they are closing their service.

Do you know any good service ?
