Google Launching Twitter-Killer For Gmail? (businessinsider.com)

Part of what I like about Twitter is that it's not Google. I don't want all my communication to be managed by one company. If Google bought Twitter I'd leave it.

How it can already be heralded as a "twitter killer" in the absence of a killer feature is beyond me.
