Exactly. These days it is very easy to draw some boxes on the whiteboard and say "yeah this is a microservice architecture", and "everything works with APIs".
Not that the ideas are wrong, but a Microservices are just another tool. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes one can solve the problem with simple VMs, and sometimes all you need is a cron job and not 3 freaking layers of abstraction.
