Ask HN: Is your salary above or below the market rate?

I know most of you are in SV but there are a lot of posters who work outside that area. This means that discussing salary numbers isn't always that useful.

I'm wondering if most people here are above the market rate for their area or below it?

e.g. someone might be below because they are in an early stage startup.
