My gut tells me that Aaron Swartz had too many things on mind which might have caused his stress level to go through the roof and he somehow failed to think it through. He should have avoided engulfing himself in the thoughts of political activism. Instead, he should have concentrated more on his skill as a programmer that he nurtured early in his life and put the rest aside for a while or until a better time.
