Ask HN: C++/Python to Full Stack developer

I'm a C++ developer of about 10 years worked in games for a number of years xbox/wii and then in a visualization company, currently at an engineering firm. We have made a start moving over tech to a service architecture python to ASP server which I really enjoyed. Question is how likely is it that a company would even look at someone's cv that's from a C++ application background?
