[Med Tech]: Future family doctor looking to contribute to med tech

Hi,

I just matched into a US Family Medicine Residency program and will be starting in July 2016. My USMLE (United states medical licensing exam) scores and clinical performance evaluations are excellent.

It's a bit of a down time in my medical school career (post exams, prior to starting a residency) and the perfect time to learn about, meet and contribute to a med tech startup with the goal of creating a relationship that lasts into my residency and future practice of medicine.

The areas of med tech extremely interesting to me are: - Consumer medical devices (ex. glucometers, insulin test strips, pulse oximeters) - Wearables, vital sign monitoring and incentivized health improvement. - Concussion testing and data interpretation. - New takes on diagnostic tools (ex. VisualDx). ... and anything that will improve the health of Americans.

About me: 31, previously a General Manager of a Facebook API based social network and prior to that a co-founder of a website creation tool.

Education: BaSc. Electrical Engineering, MBA, MD.

Thank you. Any introductions or suggestions for next steps are appreciated! Contact info is in my bio. Located in NYC!
