I would be surprised if there are not plenty of people here on HN who plan to vote for him.
Consider this: If Trump has such a large portion of the American populace that does support him, and NOBODY on HN does, then wouldn't that mean that we, as a whole, are out of touch with the sentiments of the American population?
Having said that, the voting booth is private, and you are asking for a public statement, and those are two very different things. Quite frankly, the path of least resistance would be to not answer at all, as that will provoke the least hatred.
I just find it surprising that anyone outside of the angry mob would vote for this guy. His pandering is crossing the line from dog whistling to outright encouraging violence.
Trump is phenomenon, a true black swan event. I've been surprised by seeing some of his indian (non native american) support in New Jersey, I thought they would be against some of his h1b views.

Personally, for this election, I haven't decided.
When the US has an election (and we're still no-where near that yet) there are fucking dozens of them all over the place.
