Vidpresso (YC W14) Is Looking for Sales and Marketing People – NYC, Remote
You'd ideally be someone who is excited building processes out that don't currently exist. We'd prefer someone with passion for sales or marketing, and maybe you've felt constrained by the organization you've previously worked in and always wanted to try something with fewer constraints.
The team will be in New York starting in June, and going forward we expect New York to be our primary sales area. That being said, we expect to continue to be a remote company, and have built up a lot of processes so working remotely isn't as painful.
For the sales person / people, we'd like them to be commutable to NYC for now. Commutable is defined as: At grand central or penn station in an hour.
For marketing, we're much more flexible. We're into finding people who would otherwise work in Silicon Valley except they prefer to live wherever they've chosen.
Our team so far are experts who've chosen to live where we prefer. They include an ex-Deloitte person, an Emmy™ award winning broadcast designer, someone who built real-time video compositing software, and an ex-tech journalist who founded CNET's longest running podcast.
What we're building: Production tools to help brands and publishers create really high-quality live streaming video, for distribution on (nda'd platform). We like to say we're trying to make it so people can create TV without the station.
Want to get in touch?

Tell us why you're interested and what you like to work on. Given we work remotely, written communication effectiveness is crucial. Write a quick couple sentences of what excites you about this opportunity, and what you'd like to build or learn with us.
Resumes are optional.
We're more interested in what you'd like to do / what you can do, vs what you've done.
