It's time to stop wearing t-shirts to work, then. And start acting like professionals and not 12 year olds in grown bodies. If you're 32 and still wearing video game t-shirts, you deserve to be held down and fucked in the ass by the Harvard MBA that is your boss/owner/investor. It's time to start dressing the part and you will be amazed at the difference it makes. It is design, just like product design, except YOU are the product. Are you a professional product or something cut-rate and in it only for their own comfort? Really ask yourself what you're willing to do to get the respect you think you deserve. If you have a desire to get that respect, and a plan to get it, you will get it. America is the freest country on the planet and it is limitless what is achievable. To give up or to blame other's upbringing or social connections for your lack of respectability means you have already failed. Believe it is possible, and you at least have a chance.
