Ask HN: Coder Factory in Sydney Looking for Senior Angular/Node JavaScript Developer

Hey everyone,

My name is Daniel Siepen and I'm the co-founder of Coder Factory. We are currently on the lookout for someone to take up a role as a head trainer/teacher and CTO of the company. It's an incredible opportunity for the right person, and we are offering 140K + equity for the role.

Coder Factory’s mission is to break down the barriers that stop smart people from learning to code. Our vision is to help our communities to embrace technology and be involved in creating their future.

We are launching Australia's first ever accredited coding bootcamp, and have very exciting projects in the pipeline including corporate training and a development house with more clients than developers at the moment.

We are currently on the look-out for a developer in Node/Angular/Ruby. 2 of these languages together are fine but all 3 would be amazing.

The role can be either as a teacher, a full-time developer or a hybrid of teaching and a dedicated developer. We also have the option of 2 hour lectures for 4 weeks in total on a specific language - which means you can have time to teach and work full-time freelancing or other commitments.

It would be great to have a chat about the role with anyone who is interested, despite the role you currently have which most likely you are already enjoying. A light chat is all that is needed.

In brief: Full time, intensive program (4 x 5 week terms) - will explain more in detail in person.
