Technology is taking over healthcare. Digital health is exploding, from telemedicine to wearables, enterprise wellness, consumer engagement, and clinical tools. Funding levels and new market entrants continue to break all-time records.

Aptible makes tools to help digital health companies deploy their apps and databases into secure cloud environments, and comply with HIPAA, the federal law that regulates the privacy and security of health data.

We are an early leader in a gigantic market. We sell to startups, dev shops, BigCos, and research institutions. Our value prop is amazing: Our customers are required by law to solve for HIPAA. Existing methods are complex, expensive, time-consuming - the worst. We are the fastest, easiest, cheapest, least risky way to bring a digital health product to market, for anyone. Period.

We are fortunate to be growing fast, but we need help getting the word out.

We need a smart, growth-focused marketing generalist to join our team: Someone who can own demand gen, lead sourcing, email campaigns, content strategy and syndication, and data-driven testing of our methods.

ABOUT US:

Aptible’s mission is to help our customers work safely with the most meaningful, sensitive data in highly regulated industries. To do this, we build devops tools that streamline information security compliance for web and mobile applications. We currently focus primarily in healthcare, on HIPAA compliance.

Our philosophy is that good engineering products and practices are the best competitive advantage for teams working in regulated technology. We build tools and provide services that help our customers gain those advantages. We serve all kinds of customers, from small dev teams to large business units of established companies.

We are backed by the best investors in tech, including Y Combinator (S14), Rock Health, Maverick and Lux Capital.

YOU WILL OWN:

- Demand generation, with a focus on outbound: email campaigns, webinars, and lead gen/sourcing

- Content strategy: What kind of content should we produce, in what order, and why?

- Syndication of content across channels: Once we have good content, where should we distribute it?

- Marketing sites: Landing page design and production, main marketing site content

- Testing paid retargeting

- Testing PR, technical in focus

- Using data-driven analysis to evaluate new channels, such as conferences

- Analytics and instrumenting our customer acquisition funnel

YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF:

- You have 2-5 years of experience in growth marketing

- You're interested in tech and security

- You have strong analytical skills

- You have some facility with statistics

- You have good aesthetic taste and a sense of design

WHY WORK WITH US?

- Engineering First: Aptible is a tech company from the ground up. We were founded by engineers, the team is mostly engineers, and our users are all engineers. Your coworkers and customers will be some of the best in the world at what they do. If you're interested in the cutting edge, we're on it. It's a fun company to tell people about.

- Professional Development: We invest heavily in our team. We will pay for training, travel to conferences, and anything else you can think of that will further your career.

- Independence & Trust: Over time, you will be expected to function independently with minimal process overhead for significant portions of your work. This reinforces a high degree of mutual trust within our team.

- Our Business Model: We make money by charging our customers a monthly fee for software and services. This allows us to make decisions for the long term. We aren’t the type of startup where we give away everything for free in hopes that once we collect 100 PB of data we can build an AI to replace your doctor or sell pharma ads.

- Our Customers: We help the best companies in digital health solve their hardest engineering and regulatory problems. We involve them in our product development process and have a weekly sup...
