(Indenting text on HN is usually not a good idea -- it puts the text in a monospace font and turns off line wrapping. You might want to fix the formatting.)

Cute idea! Not sure about the monetization part. But get popular first, as they say, and you can figure out the money later.

Thanks, Scott, unfortunately, I can't edit. Next time I will try to avoid. About the monetization part, is more about give the opportunity to brands without interfering too much with the experience of people.
Only audio is not anonymous, right? What I am not telling my close friends, even my roommate's dog, I am not going to record with my own voice and hand over to a server admin who then distributes it publicly.

I love the idea of being able to get forgiveness and praise from other listeners. If you could somehow make it truly anonymous, I would be very interested and a loyal user.

Yeah, but the last apps that work with anonymous text as Secret, Whispers, Yik Yak, are finding it is very difficult to avoid the backlash. So the goal is not to be totally anonymous, maybe I should change this word in the presentation.

But I'm thinking to include a voice changer. And you will be able to limit the public. One of the limiters could be by gender. I asked some friends what they think about and boys see more as a joke, but the girls see something that could be very interesting to use. So you have some privacy, even if it is not totally anonymous.

thanks for the feedback. :)

This idea reminds me of the "Mr. Apology" answering machine project. Poignant stuff. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allan_Bridge
As a non-native speaker of English, I have no idea what Poignant stuff means :/

But, thank you for talk about "Mr. Apology". I think most of the founder here are in a holding position waiting for speaking more about the Startup and idea :). I have found the documentary of "Mr. Apology" when I was searching for audios of confessions and stuff like that. I think that there have something really similar.

It was tested for a smaller audience and it worked very well for many years, I think it helps to show that there is an audience that would like something like that.

One of the things that draw my attention to hear the reports is the beep that initiates messages. I was looking for a sound that could be unique, that could distingue a message from CN from any other message.

If anyone be interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5AddytxQqs

tks, afrancis, for the feedback. :)

Would it work for whistleblowers ? Using some algorithm to cover the voice, could it be a great dumping place for a lot of short or long confessions, advice's, leaks etc.. ? loving the idea already...
Thank you, pilooch. :)

Yes, I think. In Brazil, we have a free call hotline that anyone can call and make a completely anonymous criminal complaint. It is administered by an independent consultant in association with the government. A lot of criminals have been arrested thanks to this.

https://medium.com/@davidbyttow The Inherent Problem with Anonymous Apps For an entertainment product to survive a hype cycle it has to provide unique utility, evolve with its customers, and foster communities. How will you solve this problem?
There are several community that works with full or partial anonymity. The issue is the direction and purpose of them. Which lead to the formation of this community. We are building a road to the creation of a community with the Hubs.

Hacker News is a community with partial identification, has only your nickname, but is moved by the news and the community is built from each link. As Reddit, that directs the formation of communities for subreddits. 4chan does not have any kind of identification, but there are subdivisions and forming specific communities in each /. Forums is another place with partial identification, have been around since the birth of the internet.

There is a purpose for people to enter every day. And is not the individual profile of each. It is what the people wanna share. With the option to vote for each confession, and respond button, People will create a relationship, the bond...

There is not a ubiquitous platform for audio. But there is public for that, people wanting to produce content in this format. As can be seen in podcasts, radios, audio messages of What's app and others Messagers apps. It is a vacuum of a platform for audio that is not unique to music. I believe that CN can grow in this open road.

In this recent explosion of live video , few pay attention to a simple fact: Video, both production, and consumption, is for a minimum amount of people around the world. South America, Asia, Africa, middle east. Mobile is taking the internet where there was no computer. And many of these people have difficulties with reading and writing. Audio is more cheap and fast than images and video.

And anyone can express something using audio, include people that do not know how to write.Anyway, I agree with him about the need to enable the formation of communities and the need to be rewarded. And I believe that I will build a platform that allows it.

Thank you for the feedback. =)
