Hubspot sounds awful, but it's not as bad as whatever keeps pushing this to the front page.

I don't know if it's a voting ring, inattentive readers clicking based on the headlines, or what, but it has to stop.

Maybe it is Hubspot themselves, on the idea that any attention is good attention.

As an aside, is there some way that someone can update the story title to include "Hubspot" so that it's more apparent that it's promotion of the author's book?

Maybe it's because an account of someone older and experienced and jaded going to work at a Kool-aid drinking startup is like ludicrously on-topic for the HN audience. Ockham's razor and all. Not every HN voter visits the site often enough to know this book has been a recurring topic.
I just upvoted it because I thought it was a worthwhile interview. I hadn't heard about the book before, and must have missed the previous articles on HN.
