Ask HN: How do you protect yourself online?

Beyond having many different and "good" passwords, not clicking on suspicious links and not visiting sketchy websites, what do you do to mitigate risk of being affected by malware / have your credentials stolen?

Any software solutions you may use? Browser extensions? Something you've built?

Learning about the threats even for an ordinary user makes me wonder how can I protect myself online against common threats.
