Spinal Singularity is an early stage medical device company headquartered in Orange County, CA. We design products to exponentially improve the quality of life for people with Spinal Cord Injury and Disease.

Hardware Engineer – Firmware, PCB Design and Layout, Bluetooth, Embedded Systems

We are seeking a versatile, self-motivated, hardware engineer to help create a prototype for our next product. This will be paid contract work and can be done remotely, if desired.

Output of this contract will be a fully functional prototype that can be rapidly transitioned to manufacturing for commercialization. Key skills include: • System Design • PCB Layout/Design • Firmware Engineering - Embedded Systems Programming in C/C++ • Experience with Bluetooth communications modules and packet design • Sensor Integration - Accelerometers

Above all else we need someone who can deliver results and get stuff done. Must be able to communicate clearly and work as part of the team to bring this product to life. Robotics background a plus. Degrees in electrical engineering or computer science not required.

Software Engineer – Mobile App Development, Bluetooth, Connected Devices

We are seeking a talented, well-rounded, software engineer to build an app that interfaces with wearable, connected devices. This will be paid contract work and can be done remotely, if desired.

Output of this contract will be an app that is ready for primetime and commercialization. Key skills include: • App Design (iOS and Android) • Software Engineering - Java • Experience with Bluetooth communications • Experience integrating sensors (accelerometers)
