Ask HN: Is PassLib still the preferred way of hashing passwords in Python?

I've been searching for the best way to hash passwords in Python (we're talking a fairly low-security website based on Flask here), and many web pages with advice on password hashing are several years old. Is the top example at https://pythonhosted.org/passlib/new_app_quickstart.html still the way to go, or are there better options?
