I think this article is a good starting point for a discussion of a couple issues. When is a market free enough for a libertarian? Should hospitals be more like restaurants? Should there be a Yelp for medical care? Would start-ups create better and bigger "Square for medical offices" type products (i.e. Square simplicity and scale for handling patients and stuff).

I assume there are big barriers to these things and if they weren't there we'd have these things if we changed in today's environment. But, honestly, I don't know.

I did love the bit though where he had no idea his hospital of choice was B rated and actually below average for the care he was seeking. If there were a Yelp would this have been different?
