Bit.ly “public” switch is broken since Thursday

From the website when I try to edit a bit.ly entry and make it public it gives me a flash of APIError: INVALID_ARGS. Also the official Chrome extension is not working, so something serious went wrong on Bit.ly side.

It's been like this since Thursday, and I consider this a huge error, as it 'breaks the Internet', lots of automated recipes are broken because of this failure.
