Thiel believes that out-of-control political correctness and character shaming will ultimately degrade the quality of rational discussion and debate in this country.
Seeing as Gawker represents so much of that nonsense, I'd say good on him for putting his money where his mouth is.
If Venture Capital is needed to properly fill a lawsuit and increase the chances of winning, the bigger news isn't that the justice system is behaving like a market?
