Ask HN: Sim card/mobile plan recommendations for ~1 month in the USA?

Hey there! Next week my girlfriend and me are going on a trip to the USA for around 5 weeks. Since I'm a freelance consultant I'm a bit dependent on internet access, so I'm looking for a mobile plan with some (>1gb) mobile internet.

If you guys have any recommendations for a good mobile plan available for non-us citizens I'd me more than thankful!
